Connor was amazing to spend time with. The family beach trip was always the best and when playing Spike Ball. I don’t think there was a single play where Connor didn’t end up in the sand! Also, he was a great guy to try to compete with
for being the last person to stay awake. For those of you who know Connor, this isn’t easy, since he hardly ever slept!

Connor was always so fun at the family beach trips. He would so generously ask us if we needed anything from the house because he could go back and forth since he couldn’t sit still and he’d return to the beach 2 hours later without whatever it was we asked him to bring back! Every time Connor would come to Albuquerque, we’d play a terrifying amount of hockey out in the street.
Then, as soon as Connor would go home, I’d tell my parents I wanted to play in a league. They’d then
tell me, “you don’t know how to skate and we’re in the desert”, so my dreams never came true as a hockey star,
but I always think about how much I looked up to Connor, even though I was older thank him!
